Blaine Carman, MA, LMFT is an inspired counselor, author, speaker, and facilitator of positive change in peoples’ lives. Blaine is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California who has been counseling individuals or consulting with organizations for more than 20 years, as well as leading life-changing workshops. He built a successful private practice in Northern California in 2000 and opened practices in Southern California in Temecula and Carlsbad in 2008. Blaine has a passion for helping people uncover what’s blocking them in their own individual growth or in relationships and to implement effective strategies to bring about positive change. In this process, clients find tools to help them sustain the growth which they have begun.

Prior to becoming a therapist, Blaine worked in high technology for several years, holding various management positions. During this time, he spent three years in Asia working as a liaison between U.S. and Asian companies. This broad range of experience has enriched Blaine’s skills as a therapist, enabling him to help individuals on a variety of issues such as the impact of job stress on family relationships, aligning personal values with career goals, multicultural issues in relationships and facilitating win-win solutions in relationships.

Blaine graduated with Honors from Saint Mary’s College with a Masters Degree in Counseling and was awarded Outstanding Masters Thesis of the Year upon graduation. He has practiced as a Christian therapist at Crosswinds Church Counseling Center in Dublin, CA, Trinity Life Solutions, in Pleasanton, CA and the Community Presbyterian Counseling Center in Danville, CA. Blaine speaks at men’s retreats, corporations, churches and singles conferences on a regular basis. He and leads seminars on a variety of life changing topics, such as life transitions, creating a purposeful life, successful “coupleship”, relationship empowerment, anger management, and dating as a vehicle for personal growth. Blaine loves working with adults from 18 to 80 who are trying to find solutions and answers to life’s difficult questions and challenges. He is a Clinical Member in good standing of the California Association.
